Shoe Tree Donation at Kennedy Club Fitness-Arroyo Grande

For the third year in a row, Joy Danley, Personal Trainer at Kennedy Club Fitness-Arroyo Grande reached out to Kennedy members and the Five Cities community to request donations of new or ‘gently used’ shoes for youth in the area. “We put up the Christmas Tree and are hanging shoes as ornaments and it has grabbed the attention and hearts of our members”, says Mark Pazell, General Manager of KCF-Arroyo Grande. “Joy is known for always looking for ways to give back to the community and this has proven to be a really successful drive. Our members look forward to the opportunity give back, right along with her.” Last year Kennedy Club Fitness-Arroyo Grande received so many new pairs of shoes they were able to fill the local need and there were enough to take to disadvantaged youth in Mexico. Danley adds, “We live in such a beautiful community people might not realize the need. There is great need and our amazing community rises to the occasion each and every time.” Donations of new and ‘gently worn shoes’ will continue to be accepted through January 1st.
